Maths Tutition

We provide high quality Maths tuition for students from year 5 right through to year 11 for GCSE as well as expert advice and support in revision topics and exam technique. It really does not matter what level of ability you are currently because as an experienced teacher we can plan a program of study that works at the right pace for you!

We often find that many students may have an excellent grasp of the formulas and maths topics, but fail to achieve the desired results that they deserve because they may misread questions, run out of time or not fully show all their working sufficiently. If this sounds familiar, then we can focus on one or more of these elements and explain the importance of reading the question properly, showing working of how the answer is reached as well as time management in exams.

As a qualified teacher with up to date knowledge of the National Curriculum as well as familiarity with all the major exam boards including Edexcel., AQA and OCR you can be confident that your child is in safe hands.

Many of my students have come to me during year 8 or 9 when they might be struggling a little and stay until they take their GCSEs in year 11 as they find the support and guidance invaluable, whilst others just need a little extra help before the main GCSEs in year 11. It is a joy and immensely satisfying to see how students grow and develop as they become more confident on their journey through secondary school.

We offer tuition both online or face to face at your own home (maximum 30 minutes from Headcorn) with a minimum of once a week, but can be more intensive if required.
