Welcome to My121tutor - an established, high quality private tuition service based in Headcorn, Kent.

We believe that by developing a personal relationship with your child we can understand all their educational needs which enhances the possibility of achievement and by overcoming those challenges - confidence and learning is accelerated. We let the parents get on with being parents whilst we look after your child’s education.

How I work

After an initial conversation to find out who and what the tuition is for, I arrange an assessment which is informal, but provides me with a baseline of the student’s current knowledge level in the subject or area that needs support, so I can plan the tuition program and set the desired goals within the timeline available.

It is also an opportunity to meet the parent(s) and create a relationship with them and the student and ensure that we are all comfortable as creating a good working relationship is key to success.

Tuition is usually once a week for one hour during term time (holidays are optional) but this can vary depending on the time frame and the outcome desired.

We work online and offline for Maths and Psychology and we serve to Headcorn, Staplehurst, Tenterden, Marden, Lenham, Harrietsham, Maidstone and surrounding areas for face to face tuition for the Kent test (11+)
